Meet the team
RDA Mediation LLC is a boutique alternative dispute resolution firm that leverages unique federal in-house, litigation, claims administration, and mediation experience to help parties reach mutually agreeable solutions to conflict. We offer virtual mediation services throughout Florida via Zoom and are available to mediate in person within Miami-Dade County. With fluency in English and Spanish, we serve a diverse clientele.
Richard (Rick) De Aguiar, Esq.
Founder and Mediator
Rick is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit, County, and Family Mediator; a Qualified Arbitrator; and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. Prior to founding the firm, Rick had a distinguished three-decade career with the United States Department of Justice, which he joined through the prestigious Attorney General’s Honors Program upon graduating from the American University Washington College of Law. His responsibilities at The Department involved complex in-house, litigation, and claim administration matters ranging from constitutional torts to negligence issues. Mr. De Aguiar began mediating with the Justice Department’s Mediator Corps in 2009, and he is presently a full-time neutral.
